Chairman of the jury of the George Enescu International Competition in the composition category.

The George Enescu International Competition, one of the most important international platforms promoting young musicians from around the world, is a natural extension of the George Enescu Festival – the most prestigious cultural event organised in Romania.
The model of the competition is inspired by the life of the artist whose name it bears. The George Enescu International Competition supports and promotes young talents from around the world, just as the great composer supported young musicians during his lifetime. In 2026, it will take place from 1 to 26 September in Bucharest in the following categories: piano, cello, violin and composition. In the latter category, Zygmunt Krauze will once again chairman the competition jury.
