On 27 January at 6 p.m., the Hilary Majewski Tenement House will host a performance of movement etudes to the music of Zygmunt Krauze, choreographed by Dr Magdalena Owczarek, an artist and educator associated with the Academy of Music in Łódź.

Wanting to pay tribute to the composer’s work, she gave the works an additional aspect in the form of stories and events told with movement. Magdalena Owczarek invited students and graduates of the Łódź Academy of Music’s Rhythmic Department to take part in the project.

The performance will be followed by a meeting with the composer, hosted by Dr Magdalena Owczarek and Ada Słowikowska.
