Organisers: “The music statuette in the Lifetime Achievement category will be awarded to the outstanding composer, esteemed pianist, teacher and exceptional organiser of musical life – Zygmunt Krauze. He is the author of operas, piano concertos and theatre music, composed, amongst others, for the legendary Comédie Française. His body of work also features spatial-musical compositions and pieces resulting from bold experiments with sound recording and the timbre of the piano. He is also the initiator and founder of the Musical Gardens festival at the Royal Castle in Warsaw, which has been enriching the capital’s cultural life for many years.”
