Due to the epidemic situation, the planned premiere on 20 May 2020 was cancelled. The organizers of the CODES Festival have set a new date for the premiere, which will take place on 2nd of September 2020 in the Concert Hall of the Lublin Philharmonic. The premiere of Zygmunt Krauze’s work “Copernicus – Our Planet/Kopernik – Our Planet” will inaugurate the 12th CODES Festival of Traditional and Avant-garde Music. The composition for six mixed voices and string orchestra will be performed for the first time by the winners of the “Fryderyk 2020” award – proMODERN – vocal sextet of contemporary music and the Jerzy Semkow Polish Sinfonia Iuventus Orchestra.
