On 17 January 2020 at 20:00 in the prestigious Arsenal concert hall in Metz, the French premiere of the Piano Concerto No. 3 – The Fragments of Memory by Zygmunt Krauze will take place. The work will be performed by the Orchestre national de Metz, with Zygmunt Krauze at the piano. The premiere will be conducted by Wilson Hermanto.
Piano Concerto No. 3 – Fragments of Memory was commissioned by the Warsaw Autumn Festival, Adam Mickiewicz Institute, L’Orchestre national de Metz and the National Philharmonic in Warsaw.
The concert programme will also include such works as Anatol Liadov’s Le Lac enchanté Op. 62 and Piotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 6 in B minor “Pathetic” Op. 7.
At 19:00, Nicolas Moron will give a lecture with the participation of Zygmunt Krauze (free entrance).
