In October 1978, Zygmunt Krauze wrote music for a children’s play entitled “Kwa, kwa, kwa – drogą szły kaczorki dwa”, produced at the Pinocchio Theater in Łódź by Eugeniusz Priweziencew (text and direction).
In the 80’s Zygmunt Krauze was living in Paris where he was working with director Jorge Lavelli. Thanks to this collaboration, the music to the following theatre plays has been created:

- Theatre National de la Colline: Makbet (E. Ionesco), Le Public (F. G. Lorca), Réveille-toi Philadelphie! (F. Billetdoux), Operetka (W. Gombrowicz)
- Centro Dramatico Nacional, Madryt: Skąpiec (J.B.Molier)
- Festival de Teatro Clasico, Merida, Hiszpania: Król Edyp (Sofokles)
- Festival Les Nuits de Fourviere, Grand Theatre romain, Lyon: Merlin (T. Dorst)
