The instrumental party can be performed by four musicians who change instruments during the course of the song. Fragments with violins, pipes, bagpipes and hurdy-gurdys are played by walking on the stage and the concert hall. The notation should be treated as a suggestion that musicians can perform at their own discretion and in accordance with the capabilities of the instruments.
