On Sunday, January 19th, 2020, at 10.25 a.m., TVP Kultura will broadcast a recording of Zygmunt Krauze’s latest opera “Yemaya – Queen of the Seas” (dir. Hanna Marasz, Wrocław Opera, dir. Adam Banaszak).

“Yemaya – Queen of the Seas” is another work which joined the repertoire of the Wrocław Opera in October 2019 and is addressed to family audiences. The work by Zygmunt Krauze was commissioned especially for the Wroclaw Opera.

The commission was financed by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage from the Cultural Promotion Fund as part of the “Composers’ Commisions” programme, carried out by the Institute of Music and Dance.
